Coolsmiles has joined forces with the Emmy winning TV show Extreme Makeover: Home Edition and donated an Extreme Makeover: Orthodontic Edition of their own.

As most of you already know because of all the media coverage, the Lutz family of East Setauket, NY was the recipient of a Long Island Extreme Makeover set to begin on Tuesday June 22 and completed by the end of the week.

No, it's not a Beatles song. It was twenty-five years ago that Traci (mom) had her orthodontic care completed by Dr. Klempner. We all celebrated the occasion today when her son Dennis had his braces placed by Dr. K as well. "I only wanted Dr.Klempner and the Coolsmiles Team to treat my son". We have many children of patients that we have treated in our practice. We take it as the greatest compliment that we can receive. We consider it both an honor and a privilege. We would love to hear your comments.

Jelly Bean Contest Winner

Congratulations to Timmy! He is the winner of a $25.00 Gift card. Timmy was so excited when he found out he won the contest. He won the gift card but I think he was expecting the jar of jelly beans. For those of you who are curious, there were 300 jelly beans -thank you Ginny for counting. I asked little Timmy, around 4 years old, how he guessed the right number? He said it was easy, he divided the diameter of the jar by the square root of the hypotenuse. Wow, why didn't I think of that.
